Your Support in Action:
Together, student fees and donations help us provide thoughtful instruction, equip our team, and serve our community.
Donations to The Lingo Project help support:
English and Spanish Curriculum and Classroom Materials
The people, technology, and operations that
keep classes running
Training and resources for
teachers and
volunteers
Outreach and growth into new communities
Why Your Gift Matters?
Students pay a modest monthly fee for their digital materials, which helps sustain the program. This investment also encourages them to take ownership of their learning: to attend, study, and keep growing.
Since introducing the monthly fee, monthly assessments, and program certificates, we have seen greater commitment and growth in our community.
In Luke 14:28 - Jesus speaks about the cost of following Him.
His words remind us to begin with intention and remain committed to what we start.
We keep the fee low so our programs remain accessible. Your donations provide additional support for curriculum development, learning materials, teacher and volunteer resources, and opportunities to reach more people.

"The truth is that the Bible verses are one of the things I have enjoyed most in the Lingo class because they have brought me closer to God through love. Before Lingo, I went to different places, and people spoke to me about God. I listened, but I continued living in the same way until I got to the Lingo class and we started discussing the verses.
Also, learning English gives me confidence to speak in public without the fear of being criticized or corrected. In my job, it has helped me perform better. Now, I want to learn more about God and, of course, the language as well. God changes, God transforms. In the name of Jesus, amen."

"It’s really beautiful to have Bible verses during an English class because I wasn’t used to hearing anyone talk about God. Going over Bible verses during the class at Lingo have gotten me closer to Him.
I used to think of God's existence only when I was going through difficult times, but having the Bible verses time during class makes me keep Him in mind all the time.
The truth is, I’m glad I’ve gotten closer to God when I needed Him the most, and sometimes when I’m going through a problem, God speaks to me with a verse from the ESL class."
