WHY ARE WE DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER ESL CLASS?
The Lingo Project is a faith based nonprofit built specifically for adult learners – immigrants, parents, and working individuals who need practical English to thrive in daily life, work, and community.

Community-Based, Not Just a Classroom:
Lingo is not just about lessons – it’s about building real relationships and support networks. Classes are designed to be welcoming, personal, and connected to real-life situations
Flexible and Accessible
-
Flexible scheduling (evenings or online)
-
Simple enrollment (no documents required)
-
Low cost to attend - We work with volunteers from different churches and areas who are willing to donate their time and efforts to teach you English
-
Google Calendar reminders & printed schedules

Language with a Purpose
-
Lingo doesn’t teach textbook English only. We use our own curriculum and we are in the process of building a new one. Our curriculum is BEING built around life skills:
-
How to navigate daily life with confidence
-
How to communicate at work
-
How to communicate in general
